Reviving The Blog

There goes my blogging spirit... Luckily I still remember the existence of this blog... XD

Aight... Before I completely forget the existence of this blog (hopefully it'll never happen.. =P), let me update you on what has been happening during the past two months... Welllll... Hmmm... *thinking hard*.... *fumbling my phone calendar* Okay... Here it goes...

1. We took a day off to celebrate YJ's birthday (what a great excuse to go on leave!! XD).

2. Show Luo 3D Concert was a blast!! I'm glad that I didn't sell off my ticket!! Although it's too late... I still want to fulfill my promise to 羅志祥. So here it goes... 羅志祥新加坡舞法舞天演唱會好看慘了!! (这是羅志祥逼我讲的!!哈哈哈!!=P)

3. I’ve completed a Mission Impossible. Considering my bad Chinese, I manage to finish my first ever Chinese book, 我爱故我在 by陶晶瑩. I simply love this book!! I love how 陶子 write about her and her friends experience in love… It’s funny and yet it’s realistic at the same time.

4. I almost fell asleep in Jenny Tseng Farewell World Tour Concert (Thanks to all the Cantonese song that she sang… man… I barely understood what she sang!!) But she’s one hell of a great and gorgeous singer I’ve ever seen. I’m glad that I have a chance to watch her last two shows before she retired. And I kept mumbling to YJ that we have to work our ass off if we want to look like her when we reach 60…

5. I was diagnosed with mumps by the doctor. I can barely eat and drink cos my throat hurts like hell… Well, now I’ve recovered… Let me share with you my personal prescribe medicine…. Drink water, drink lots water, and drink lots and lots and lots of water!!! When you start to ran to toilet at least 10 times a day… You’ll recover in no time… =D

6. After all our hard work from house viewing, closing the deal, renovation and furniture shopping… WE’VE FINALLY MOVE TO OUR NEW HOUSE!!! Woohooo~~~ although the process is really tedious and tiring, but it’s all worth it!!! And I can’t imagine how bad it will go if my mom wasn’t around during that time!! My mom was the one that did most of the packing of our staff… Till now, I still have to call her when I can’t find my things… Conclusion?? My mom is a SUPER MOM!!! And I love my mommy!!! =P

7. We went to watch December Rains [雨季]. I never heard 陈洁仪’s live singing before and man… she’s one great singer!!! Put aside the predictable story line and the cheesy romantic lines, I still love the show… before the show, I was captivated by 田伟鸿. But thorough the show, I like刘俊葳’s character more than田伟鸿’s. If I’m丽卿, I’ll definitely choose明理 rather than英雄. But I still love how they end the story. It was touching when the character finally able to put down all their past regrets...

8. Urrhhh… Hmmm… Ok… It’s 11:25 pm and my brain is shutting down… Sitting in front of the computer and blogging while having flu and listening to張懸’s music is not a wise decision at all… Cos I feel my eyes closing down soon… *fumble to look for a tooth pick* * sticking the tooth pick to keep my eyes opened*… Ok.. Let’s continue…

9. *sniff*~~~ *sneeze*!!! *sniff*~~~ *sneeze*!!! *sniff*~~~ *sneeze*!!! *sniff*~~~ *sniff*~~~ Ok… I’m off to bed… =P

10. ZZZZzzzzzz~~~ Am I in a dream of a dream... of a dream...

What happened basically is almost all the audiences sitting at the stair seating are stomping their feet and shouting “ENCORE!!! ENCORE!!! ENCORE!!!”

(Ei…

。。讲讲讲。。。讲。。。讲讲讲。。。

Last week after work, I was sitting at Lau Pa Sat with W.

Behind me, there was a drunken uncle, seated with a jug of beer with some of his friends. Well, I ‘accidentally’ heard of their conversation (come on… the uncle voice is real loud!). And I’m simply amazed by the ‘continuous-unstoppable-strings’ of ranting he ‘presented’ to his friends.

I mean… the uncle just goes “you know ah… hiks… she never wrong one…hiks…everything she said is correct one lah… hiks… #@%$&@... hiks…blah blah blah blah…hiks…blah blah blah blah… hiks… and there goes on and on… and on… and on…

To be honest, it’s not the first time I heard people complaining. But this uncle just amazed me, we’re sitting there for almost an hour and the uncle just keep ranting and ranting and ranting about the same thing!

In the end, I turned to W and said, “You know what. I realize something. Complain = saying the same sentences again and again and again. They just use different structure and grammars to present it one after another.” W laughed hard and said, “It’s so true!!”. LOL…

Well, I find it amusing that how people (especially those living in Singapore... =P) loves to complain. I heard from radio few days ago that there’s someone who complained that why the Helix Bridge did not have a roof to shade the pedestrians from rain or sun. Duh… I guess that the purpose of everything exists in Singapore is to become an object for people to complain about. Heh~~~

Right… It doesn’t mean that I’ve never complained before. I do complain when the pressure is there or when I think that I was treated unfairly. But yeah… If one day I started to sit down at a coffee shop with a jug of beer in front of me and keep ranting about how bad is my boss, God… please remind me of what I’ve blogged today. AMEN~~~

Boat Quay

Went to Boat Quay with W tonight. At first, I was quite reluctant to go since it's Monday morning (people tend to get tired on Monday night, speaking of which mostly is not because of work but because of the 'bluess'... =P)

Two years in Singapore, I went to Boat Quay just once. And it's during lunch time which we actually just sort of pass by...
At first, I expected Boat Quay to be like Clark Quay where there's a lot of bars and restaurant with a lot of ang moh around. To my surprise, it's not (guess that's because it's weekdays?).

The environment there is really relaxing and (I would say) classic. There are a few Bars around which has live performance.
So basically the two of us just get something from 7 eleven and seat outside a bar with live performance (we get to listen for free!!) enjoying the music.
After that, we just seat (at the floor... =P) facing the river for around 1 to 2 hours... starring at the river and sky... right… it might sound dumb, but I actually enjoyed it a lot!!

Heh~~ What I'm trying to say is, it feel really great when I can just get away from the social & working life , sat there and basically do nothing... I really love this 'getaway' activity... Guess I’ll be going back there someday for another 'getaway'... Right... I think I'm started to see ADHD symptoms in me... =P
